We had our first real book club yesterday. The book this time was Flush. It was about a boy who has a dad who went to jail for sinking a mans boat. He sunk the boat because the man was dumping the holding tank into the ocean which was killing the fish. But they couldn't ceach him in the act because he was doing it at one oclock in the morning when no one was watching him. Plus he was friends with the person who watched over the ocean(whatever that is called) So his kids planned to discover if they really where or wernt. So the boy snuck up on the boat and flushed little bottles of pink food coloring down the toilet. Because he knew they would dump the holding tanks and when they did the goo showed and it showed every one that Dusty was polluting the water. Then Dusty got in trouble and had to pay 1000 grand (which was how much he earned per night on the pocer ship) so that made Paine (the boy's dad ) very angry! So mad that he punched all the doors with his bare hands. Soon after he got his casts put on the police came to arrest him again. But this time it was for burning down the boat. So the mom said "How could he have when he had his casts on about 6 hours before the boat was burned down." Then the boy's sister abbey said"Yea he couldn't evan pick his own nose if he wanted to ." Than the figured out it was the man's son had burned down the ship with some fireworks and a cigar.
